Stopping a service offer or request
If your request has been fulfilled, or you no longer want to offer a certain service, you should stop the outdated post by either deleting it or making it expire.- Log in to your account at timetradecircle.timebanks.org.
- Click the "My Account" tab at the top right.
- Click on the title of the post you want to stop.
- Now click "Edit" above the title.
- Option 1: If you want to get rid of the ad immediately, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Delete". This will delete the ad entirely, not saving the text for later. Skip the rest of these instructions!
- Option 2: If you want to save the text in your account, scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the expiration date. Set the date to tomorrow's date. (Note: The site will not let you enter today's date and therefore does not allow you to expire the ad immediately.)
- Click Save.
- Later on, you will receive an email reminding you that your post is about to expire, and since that is what you want, you don't need to do anything more.
- Making the post expire will not delete it from your account, but it will stop it from showing up in listings and searches. If you ever need to post this service again, your text is saved. On the "My Account" page, you will find it under Expired Service Ads. If you click on the title and edit the post, you can then set the expiration date to some date in the future, and it will become active again.
